Greetings! If you find yourself in need of any garden or general landscaping help this summer and into fall, I'm your girl! For 3 summers (in 3 very different cities!) I have done some part-time work on the side helping people out doing pretty much any general garden task you can think of: weeding, planting, pruning, mulching, mowing lawns, pressure washing driveways/decks, raking, trellising, composting, etc. I don't do pesticides, herbicides, or any other chemical applications though...you are on your own there! It started off one summer helping out a friend of a friend whose mother had fibromyalgia and couldn't tend her flower beds anymore and I found that it was a great way to make some extra cash helping people out and do something fun that I was good at. If you are interested, I live in Shadyside and am willing to travel around to nearby neighborhoods such as Squirrel Hill, Oakland, East Liberty, etc. or possibly further (Lawrenceville, Strip) if it is a regular occurrence. I don't have a car, so the neighborhood has to be easily accessible. Generally I like to come out once a week for a couple hours at a time if further out. Pay is negotiable, but generally most people do around $10/hour.
