Certified Lawn Care Technician

SUMMARY: Lawn Care Technician will work to maintain contractual obligations in regard to herbicide, pesticide and fertilization applications. Will identify and treat specific insects, weeds, and turf diseases with the application of appropriate products. Technician will mix herbicides and pesticides according to specification sheets and maintain accurate records of product usage. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Ability to perform work according to budgeted time and requirements - Identification and knowledge of treatment for specific insects, weeds and turf diseases with application of appropriate products - Perform minor maintenance as required - Perform work using safe practices and exercising company safety policies REQUIREMENTS - Valid PA drivers license, must pass DOT physical, and have reliable transportation - Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. or more on a daily basis - Ideally one year of experience with fertilizations and pesticide spray applications - PA Pesticide Certification or the ability to obtain Certification in less than 60 days\ Salary history required.
