Our Chantilly location can provide transportation (passenger vans) to and from Front Royal, Winchester, Reston, and Herndon daily. Our Sterling location can also assist with transportation from surrounding areas. Experience is not required, much more important is a good work ethic, ability to work hard, and an interest in working outdoors. ValleyCrest has work year round for good people between mulching, mowing, fall clean up, and snow removal services. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Mow turf using various mowers, edge grass, and blow leaves • Prune shrubs and trees and pull weeds as needed • Clean sites, clear debris, and watch for trash, limbs, and rocks • Care of seasonal flower displays (planting, watering, fertilizing, etc.) • Safely perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials, including, but not limited to backpack blowers, large containers of mulch/plant material, various sizes of lawnmowers, etc. • Lift and carry machinery, mulch, and other materials 35-80 lbs. frequently Work Environment: • Work hours vary and may exceed 10 - 12 hours per day • Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, precipitation, snow) while wearing Personal Protective Equipment • Noise level may be loud at times and use of ear plugs may be required Brickman/ValleyCrest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
