Turf Masters Lawn & Landscape is looking for a dependable, safety conscious, self-motivated, and organized candidate with an adequate knowledge of the Lawn & Landscape industry. You must have a good driving record, a positive attitude, and be able to work quickly and efficiently, they require a great deal of discipline and stamina as well as the ability to work well on a team. A successful candidate will have customer service, problem solving, and operational & control skills, as well as good attention to detail and constant alertness are necessary for safety reasons and to avoid careless mistakes. Candidate will be responsible for modifying the terrain of a property in a number of ways. Depending upon the job, they may be trimming trees and bushes, mulching gardens, installing edging ect.. You will also need to know how to install such functional areas as patios, retaining walls, water features and walkways as well as sprinkler and lighting systems. You may also be responsible for preserving the qualities of client properties by watering plants, mowing lawns and performing other maintenance tasks. You will need to know how to communicating with customers about service details and property conditions while maintaining clear and accurate records of all work required to be maintained daily. Position will involve the use of a variety of hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms and handsaws for simple tasks such as cutting wood, grooming gardens and cleaning up leaves. In addition, they may use many power tools for heavier tasks such as cutting down trees or heavy branches with a chainsaw or electric clippers. You must have some experience with a skid loader/mini-walk behind loader as you will need to know how to maneuver and troubleshoot your equipment. Position requires 2-5 years of landscaping work experience with a minimum high school education and diploma or equivalent is required. Additional college education is preferred but not required.
