FOREMAN POSITION The applicant should be passionate about creative hardscaping design & installs, with a strong interest in a career path in the hardscaping industry. The foreman should have an extensive understanding and experience with interlocking installs. Interlocking is the main component of every one of Specialty Stone's projects. The foreman will lead the crew through the start to finish of interlocking projects. Any other hardscaping experience is a huge asset. Experience in retaining walls, step installs, excavation machinery, concrete pours, outdoor kitchens, & fire pits/ fire tables, can be very helpful traits of the lead foreman. As a foreman of the company, the applicant will be responsible for planning out day to day install procedures, using his/her knowledge base to properly structure each day in the most efficient was possible. The foreman will be responsible to direct and lead a team of skilled labourers to carry out each days plan. The foreman must be able to plan ahead and delegate roles to keep workflow consistent. Specialty Stone is searching for a foreman who can encourage and teach other employees. Being able to clearly explain oneself in a calm manner is vital in this leader position. The Foreman will also be responsible for ensuring that time budgets are met. We are looking for someone who will be able to motivate labourers to help the team meet these time budgets. Hourly Wage is between $25-$40/ hour, depending on experience in the hardscaping industry as well as experience in a role as a leader. SKILLED LABOURER POSITION Skilled labourer is responsible for supporting the foreman with various duties such as levelling, doing stone cuts, providing pavers, and wheelbarrowing aggregates. Hourly wage is $20-$25/ hour depending on experience
