Business Location: 2350 United Boulevard, Coquitlam, BC V3K 6S1 Work Location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time - permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description: • Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment • Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products • Pack and unpack goods • Sort, crate and stack goods • Organize and maintain inventory • Operate forklift • Operate industrial trucks, tractors and other mobile equipment • Perform labouring duties in warehouses • Operate forklift and front end loader • Provide Customer service: Assist customers with material selection • Fill out minimal paperwork Requirements: -Education: No formal education is required. -Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided. -Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads (up to 45 kg), Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods -Personal suitability: Team player, Organized, Effective interpersonal skills, Accurate, Initiative, Judgement, Client focus.
