My name is Nicholas Tipler. I am the president of Outdoor Improvement, Inc. Nicholas is in charge of all operations and does a majority of the sales for the company. Nicholas since 16 years of age been in the outdoor services industry from mowing lawns, maintaining properties, driving commercial vehicles hauling sod and landscape supplies to operating heavy equipment such as large front end loaders, skid-steers, excavators and railroad equipment. I am in business of with my cousin Tyler Furch who is the Vice President. Tyler is in charge of HR, accounting and also helps with the operations of the business. Tyler has 4 years of experience in the outdoor services industry. Tyler went to school for electrical engineering with a minor in business. Tyler is a big help for the company with his knowledge in business and technology. He is experienced in project management from signing a job, ordering material, engineering plans, permits or operating equipment on the jobsite. Tyler is not afraid to operate a shovel or get dirty so he will stick right along with the guys if needed to push a job forward. Tyler in 2009 was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma while attending the U of M. He has now been in remission for 5 years. Our company was established in 2012. We have a combined 18 years of experience in the outdoor services industry. All our employees are back round screened, drug tested and have extensive knowledge of the landscape industry. All our operators are certified in each piece of equipment they operate. All our equipment is newer, up to date, properly licensed, DOT certified and properly maintained on a daily basis. We follow all OSHA rules and regulations. We have certifications with MNLA (Minnesota Landscape Association), MNDA (Minnesota Department of Agriculture), and are always trying to further our knowledge in the industry. Outdoor Improvement, Inc. is a full service landscape company. We service commercial and residential customers throughout the Twin Cities area and at times travel for larger projects. We specialize in full yard renovations whether starting with a clean slate or tearing out the existing yard. We can do a full design and install your new landscape. We handle any and all permits and engineering plans so you don't have to worry about it. We also provide hydro-seeding, lawn management, snow management, skid-steer, excavation and hauling services.
