I provided an encompassing variety of lawn care services including: general upkeep of maintained properties, “taking back” land from Mother Nature, to in-depth analysis of soil with goals of reinvigorating land. My preferred method of care is to start with the soil because that’s how jaw dropping yards are created. On my first visit, clients and I discuss the history with the property, the current state of affairs, and their vision into the future of their little Eden... along with tidying up of course. Included in my initial service is the option for construction of a legal compost bin (depending on HOA, and government regulations). The maintenance of the compost bins is taken care of by me on a weekly schedule; I do all the hard work turning, or stirring that cauldron of magic. Clients are provided with instructions of what can and cannot be added. Along with allowed kitchen waste, the bin will be composed of their yard clippings and a bucket of my own “black gold.” The benefits of that yard “waste” should go right back to where it came from. In terms of pruning, I strongly suggest doing so during the proper seasons per respective plant. Prune out of season and your flowering trees and shrubs might not be so magnificent next year. I also know that maintaining the beauty of plants doesn’t happen when war like hedge clippers are involved. I prefer my shears. Spaghetti is great, but not where plant limbs are concerned. All that aside, I can come over and simply cut some grass and blow away fallen leaves if that’s all that is wanted. I enjoy caring for the land either way.
